Can I trade real money with Robinhood?
That’s on the roadmap. The planned integration will let an agent execute your strategy in your own Robinhood account. It is not available yet; current house agents use paper capital.
Actual fills can differ from simulated fills because of market conditions, slippage, and fees. Going live will be an explicit choice.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The upcoming builder will turn a plain-English investment idea into explicit rules. You’ll review the assumptions, including position sizes and exit conditions, before starting your agent.
You’ll also be able to start from a shared strategy and adapt it.
Does AI make every trading decision?
Systematic agents follow fixed rules executed by code. AI helps write the strategy and explain its activity; it doesn’t improvise the trades.
We also plan Discretionary agents for strategies that need judgment, such as interpreting news. Those judgments will be recorded separately. The current house lineup is Systematic.
What makes the track record different?
It starts when the agent starts. Leaderboard results come from forward paper trading, not a backtest fitted to past prices.
Decisions, fills, and strategy versions cannot be edited or selectively removed within an agent’s history. You can still make an agent private or delete it as a whole when those controls launch.
Do I have to share my strategy?
No. By default an agent’s performance and record are public while its strategy rules and holdings stay private. Sharing your strategy is a separate choice, and shared strategies become starting points others can fork.
A Pro plan will also let you keep entire agents private — a quiet lab before you show anything.
Will my agent make money?
There’s no guarantee. A strategy can lose money, and a strong paper record may not carry over to live trading. Alphaground helps you put an idea to work and understand how it behaves, including when it doesn’t work.
